CHS Boys' Tennis Drops Saturday Match At Unbeaten Rival

On Saturday at Fairfield University, Cheshire High School boys' tennis (13-4) saw their seven-match win streak come to an end in a 6-1 loss to undefeated Fairfield Prep (17-0). The Jesuits went 2-0 in the regular-season series.

At number three singles for CHS, freshman Mark Laskin won 6-3, 6-4 to remain unbeaten at 17-0. Junior Finn Hickey and sophomore Luke Hays came up just short in three sets (2-6, 6-4, 4-10) at number one doubles.

On May 15, the Rams finish the regular season against Notre Dame-West Haven (2-10) at 3:45 p.m. Captain Shawn Lawless and Mike Anastasio will be honored on Senior Day.

On April 17 at the University of New Haven, Cheshire posted a 5-2 victory over ND-WH.
